Consumables that run out first on a site. The 260 mm hollow-block drill bits are made to pass through the voids without breaking the block’s inner walls — an ordinary bit in such a base gives a ragged hole, and the dowel does not hold in it. The MOBOMBA pump blows the dust out of a drilled hole: without that, the dowel sits on a cushion of dust and loses up to half of its load capacity, which is critical on facade work. The 12 and 20 L buckets are for mixing adhesive and mortar. The 45 g gloves are a standard consumable; the price is per pair and they are sold by the pair.

A small section with the things that run out on site at the worst moment. The 260 mm drill bits for hollow blocks and brick, with carbide tips, do not break the block’s inner walls and give a clean hole for the dowel; choose the diameter by the dowel — 6, 8, 10 or 12 mm. The 12 and 20 litre construction buckets, made of impact-resistant plastic with a metal handle, stand up to mixing mortar and to frost. Work gloves with a latex-coated palm are sold by the pair. The MOBOMBA hand pump blows dust out of holes before chemical anchors and dowels are fitted: without that the anchor holds noticeably worse.

Why blow the dust out of the hole?
Dust stops the dowel from expanding in the wall, and the fixing loses up to half of its rated load. On a facade, where the dowel holds the insulation, that is a direct risk of the insulation coming off.
How is a hollow-block drill bit different from an ordinary one?
It has a different geometry and a length of 260 mm: it passes through the voids without breaking the block’s inner walls, so the hole comes out clean and the dowel holds in it.
Are gloves sold singly?
Yes, the price is per pair: take as many pairs as you need, a whole pack is not required.
