Perforated angles, plates and tape
Prices and stock — Tbilisi warehouse. Order online in a minute.
Perforated fixings join timber and light metal structures without complicated joints. Reinforced angles from 30×30 to 100×100 mm work on rafters, battens and framing: the rib stops the angle from opening under load. Connector plates of 95–195 mm splice members in one plane. Mounting tape in 25 m coils is a consumable for temporary bracing, pipe hangers and ties on a timber frame; straight tape is used for guy ties, while wavy tape resists bending better. Everything is galvanized. Such joints are fixed not with wood screws but with ring-shank nails or short wide-head screws through every hole.

About this section: Perforated angles, plates and tape
Perforated galvanized steel fixings assemble timber structures without notching and long fitting: rafters, battens, partition frames, gazebos, terraces. The 2 mm mounting angles join timber at a right angle, the connector plates extend and reinforce a joint in one plane, and the 25 m mounting tape coil hangs pipes and ducts and ties structures together across uneven surfaces. Padlock hasps, angled and straight, go on gates, sheds, doors and containers.
The 2 mm steel and galvanizing give a reserve of strength for roof joints and protection against rust outdoors. The holes are spaced for 4–5 mm screws and M8–M10 bolts, so the joint is assembled without drilling. For load-bearing roof joints, fix through all the holes with ring-shank nails or wood screws; for battens half of them is enough.
Choose the angle size by the timber section: 30×30 for laths and battens, 50×50 for 50 mm timber, 80×80 and 100×100 for rafters and beams. Sold in packs of 50–125 pieces; tape is sold in coils. Everything is in stock at our Tbilisi warehouse, with delivery to your address.
Frequently asked questions
What do I fix perforated angles with?
With ring-shank nails or short wide-head screws in every hole. Ordinary wood screws are not suitable for load-bearing joints: the bearing area under their head is smaller.
What is the difference between wavy and straight tape?
Straight tape works in tension, so it is used for guy ties and hangers. Wavy tape resists bending loads better and does not tear at kinks.
Which angle should I take for rafters?
For a rafter system usually 80×80 or 100×100 mm with a rib. The exact size depends on the timber section and the design load.
